Euro Car Parks, Welford Road, Leicester

This was a large unused demolition site that was taken over by Euro Car Parks for a medium-term period whilst a large planning scheme was secured. The site was completely overrun with fly tipping and demolition spoil with a very undulating surface.

We had to clear the site completely and make safe all the damaged and incomplete hoarding before the works could start. Using large machinery we brought in huge loads of type 1 scalpings and levelled the area and compacted it to provide a flat surface for cars to drive on. We erected a long line of timber hoarding to separate off the pile of demolition spoil from the new proposed car park.
